Shooting three same surfaces of revolution(SOR) with the camera results in a special image. Through studying the geometric of SOR in this image, we show that such image can provide sufficient information for camera calibration. Experiment proves that our method can calibrate camera effectively and provide support for the application based on the image processing technology.
This paper presents a method to build a real-time distributed operating system. We first discuss the theory of microkernels and their operating system implementations, to find a way to build a real-time distributed operating system that meet the requirements in constructing tightly coupled multi-robot architecture. We choose DROPS as the basis, and do many modifications on real time and distributivity...
A new method of affine object recognition and affine parameters estimation is presented. For a real-time image and a group of templates, firstly, we segment the object regions in them and compute their covariant matrices. Secondly, normalize the ellipse regions defined by covariant matrices to circle regions to get rotational invariants, and compute the similarity function value between rotational...
The 3D standard k-epsiv model of water-air two-phase flow coupled with volume of fluid (VOF) method is established in long-distance diversion tunnel with free flow. Considering the wall roughness, the method of wall functions is adopted near the walls. The results show that the disturbance zone of water flow appears at the inlet. The mutation zone of water flow and air flow vortex appear at the outlet...
In this paper we present results from test and quantitative analysis of leading hypervisors Xen, Kvm and Vmware. Our test comparison was carried out using benchmarks which can performance on the overall performance, performance isolation, and scalability of virtual machines running on these three hypervisors. To compare, we need to measure the efficiency of the virtualization technologies. We define...
The analysis method of quotient space theorem is selected to study the wavelet transform and the conclusion is reduced that wavelet and quotient space theorem is accordant. The quotient space granularity computing theorem and wavelet transform being combined, presented the new segmentation algorithm, experimental results demonstrate that is useful and valid for complicated texture image segmentation.
While the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) has attracted much attention in the area of CFD in recent years, it has also been recognized that it is both computationally demanding and memory intensive. Extensive studies on improving the performance of LBM have been carried out. In this work, various efficient implementation algorithms of LBM are investigated in terms of computational performance and memory...
Component-based software engineering has increased the quality and the efficiency in software development. But the component adaptation is still a crucial issue in Component-based software engineering. In this paper, we focus on a dynamic analysis on the change of component and a method detecting the impact on both the correlative component and the whole system. Firstly, the component model and adaptation...
Rough sets theory is applied to the service matchmaking algorithm for pervasive computing. The relevant service matchmaking algorithm model and method are presented in the paper. The decision system is built on the basis of the sample data from service resources. The evaluation indexes for service matchmaking are taken as the attributes to find out the important attributes that reflect the essential...
Business-end programming can enable end-users to develop software just-in-time. Existing business programming approaches lack guidance for end-users who have little experiences for development. Meanwhile the efficiency of development is low and the correctness of application systems are difficult to guarantee. So a novel business-end programming approach based on domain expert system (DES) was proposed...
Modelica is a new object-oriented multi-domain modeling and simulation language and used for solving large, complex, and heterogeneous physical systems with differential-algebraic equations (DAEs). Presently there is no simulation support available in Modelica for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) problems. This paper describes how to solve the PDE models in Modelica and provides a preliminary...
Testing procedure can be described by the testing and test control notation-version 3(TTCN-3). The automatic execution of TTCN-3 test scripts is transformed to automatic testing of system under test (SUT). We propose a framework, which uses combined symbolic and concrete execution of TTCN-3 test scripts to automatically generate test inputs for most of the feasible paths. Meanwhile most of the test...
